Venice Beach, CA.

                                                            VENICE BEACH,CA.
How many times have you scrolled through your Facebook news feed, come across a friends adventurous photo album, and think to yourself "I wish I could be more care free!" Or how many times have you said to yourself "I'm going to do it!" and before you know it years of excuses have passed you by. For the most part I have always been what some like to call a 'goody-too-shoes'. I have always played by the rules, never getting into any real trouble. My little sister on the other hand is the complete opposite. S he is a care free, live in the moment, free spirit kind of girl. I have always admired her for that. I recently turned 25 and I realized that I just want to live. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I want to steal a car and drive across state, but I do want to make my life count. I want to look back and laugh at the silly things I did. I do not want to regret living my life too carefully. With all of that being said...this past weekend our friends Jasmine and Chris invited us to come along on their spontaneous beach trip. We decided to go to Venice Beach. When we got there we ate, walked around, and enjoyed the gorgeous weather. Before we headed home we decided to visit the Venice Canals. If you live in So Cal and have never been you should add that to your 'Summer To-Do List'. It's a community of gorgeous homes that have  bridges and a canal that runs through the neighborhood. We were there at night so it was all lit up and extra romantic! I'm not sure if there was something in the air or if there was something in that hot dog I ate earlier, but we had the 'GRAND' idea to lie in the street, yep in the middle of the road, and have a photo-op...which then led to planking pictures, and pictures on the bridge, and even a picture of me in someones boat!! I know, I know...tsk tsk!! But it was so much fun, even the part where I almost fell into the canal because the boat was sinking and Chris and Jasmine had to pull me out because my hubby was laughing so hard he was crying!!! Haha!! Although I have waited 25 yrs. to experience days/moments like these, I'm happy to be doing it now and I'm glad I created these memories with my hubby and our AMAZING friends!!! Here are some of the memories I managed to capture that night..enjoy!!
